The group meets on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 14.00 to 16.00 either at the Rugeley Fire Station or via ZOOM depending on circumstances(check Facebook, weekly timetable or group leader to confirm which). The course is designed for those who have a sound background in French and who now wish to brush up on their skills. There is ample opportunity to practice the 4 language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing. Pronunciation activities are built into each session. The group is of mixed abilities and levels. We concentrate on speaking the language but also cover what grammar is necessary. The principal points of grammar are gently introduced but always with the aim of making oneself understood in the language.
Members with a love of the French language and life get the chance to talk about contemporary social and environmental issues in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. We also do quizzes and games to help us learn the language and become acquainted with life and culture in France.
Group Leader: either Maggie Causer or Chris Travers-Brookes (get in touch electronically via our Contact page).
