The Drawing & Painting Group welcomes all abilities, from those who are very new to painting and drawing but have always fancied having a go, to those more experienced. Bring your own brushes & equipment.   This is a tutor-led group which concentrates on using watercolours, soft pastels, coloured pencils and pastel pencils to create a range of images using a range of paper media.

The group created watercolour paintings in 2024 and moved on to using soft pastels in 2025.  We shall resume with watercolour later this year and hopefully try our hand at coloured pencil later on. We have capacity for more members currently..

We use a range of art papers and these are supplied at cost by the group leader, along with trace-downs or line drawings and a reference picture. We currently have capacity for more members.
