We have recently been in touch with Sandfield Pumping Station in Lichfield, part of Lichfield Waterworks Trust, to organise a visit to see round these Victorian buildings and hear about its history etc.

We have a provisional booking for Friday 23rd October at 2pm, everyone making their own way there. The cost is £6 per person for a 2 hour guided visit around this Victorian Pumping Station. This includes a short background introduction, a hot drink and biscuit before splitting up into smaller groups to go round the building with a Volunteer guide. All funds go to the ongoing work on site. (There are steps inside the building)
